Dream

Dream:
I dreamed, I dreamed, I dreamed some dreams,
I dreamt I dreamed So many things,
What’s really what? What did I see?
Perhaps this is reality?

Who’s in charge of this ordeal?
Is it a dream or is it real?
Am I in or am I out?
Is this a dream or do I doubt?
And do I have to stick it out?

My eyes are black and my lips are blue,
I feel I have the awful flu!
I am young, but look so old.
These streets are getting very cold.

Is this real? Can you help?
My voice it pleading…pull me out!
I dreamt a dream the other day
The person told me not to stay!

So wake me up and set me free.
Shake me till my eyes can see.
I dreamed a dream, yet could it be…
That this is all reality???
